The jacket is used in conjunction with the PSTASS which was the world’s frst approved Category A EBS. The MK50 and PSTASS combination is used for CA-EBS courses. However, the MK50 can also be used for TBOSIET training as a standalone unit. To further assist Training Providers, the jacket comes in a modular design which offers improved maintenance and servicing as each part of the jacket and PSTASS units can be easily replaced. Designed in the same modular fashion as the Passenger Jacket but with the added beneft of a ftted waistcoat. The jacket is used along with the ROMI EBS which has a small, slimline design so not to obstruct the wearer while carrying out operations.
