Using the latest offshore sizing information and feedback from offshore workers, we have developed a suit built to fit today’s offshore work population. Manufactured utilising the most elite, technologically advanced fabric and components available, the outer shell of the suit is waterproof, breathable and inherently flame retardant. The thermal lining uses state-of-the-art Outlast® Phase Change Materials (PCM) technology, to improve thermal comfort and reduce thermal stress. It offers anti-static properties as well as improved comfort and protection. Available in a range of options including training, passenger and abandonment variants, the design premise ensures each offshore worker is equipped with the same equipment from their initial training, right through to an emergency situation. This approach has worked to inspire trust confidence in the suit, which is critical when faced with an offshore emergency situation. Features • Designed specifically for helicopter passengers • European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved • Exceptional in-water performance and survivability • Waterproof and breathable to improve passenger cabin comfort • Inherently flame retardant material providing optimum protection against fire • Enhanced thermal insulation using the latest nano-textile space technology • New seals with superior performance, delivering greater flexibility and comfort over long wear periods The 1000 Series range in now available in five variants, each tailored specific to industry and environmental requirements. • 1000 Series Training Suit • 1000 Series Passenger Suit • 1000 Series Aircrew Suit • 1000 Series Offshore Wind Power • 1000 Series Arctic Suit Survitec has worked closely with the world’s most respected oil and gas professionals to develop a range of Immersion suits for those working daily in the most unpredictable and hazardous environments. We offer a wide range of innovative and practical solutions, working closely with customers to develop customised products for individual mission requirements. Immersion Suits Quick Don Immersion Suit The Quick Don Immersion Suit is a unique and novel approach to providing protection where a constant wear anti-exposure immersion suit is impractical. Designed to provide cold water immersion protection in an emergency situation, the suit protects against cold shock and the effects of long term immersion in cold water. The single size suit is equipped with unique donning aids, giving it a donning time of 60 seconds and features an air expulsion system, high visibility gloves and hood. • Hermetically sealed to provide environmental and operational protection • Simple donning instructions ensure suit can be donned in 60 seconds • Low friction fabric aids donning • Innovative air expulsion system features include a waist- and-ankle-cinching system, shoulder and leg valves with unique anti-flutter covers OTS Suit The OTS minimises the effect of cold shock and provides essential thermal protection, thereby significantly extending survival time. The garment is both lightweight and breathable, allowing for strenuous activity without the wearer suffering the effects of heat stress. The flexibility of the OTS has led to its approval and use with the military environment, and is now extensively used on both fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Constructed from newly developed GORE-TEX® tri-laminate fabric, the garment comprises an internal insulating fleece whilst the PTFE membrane provides waterproof and breathable protection, with a protective knit to the front. • Has no adverse effect on lifejacket performance • Allows for high levels of physical activity without compromising individual work performance • Compatible with all forms of aircrew equipment • CAA approved and USAF ‘Safe to Fly’ • Suitable for flying over or working close to water • Constructed from GORE-TEX® tri-laminate fabric for increased thermal protection • New zip, wrist and neck seals incorporated to maximise comfort with compromising water integrity • Subjected to coldwater trials and proven to provide a predicted survival time between 1.5 and 2.5 hours in water of 5°C
